After escaping North Korea, I have lived in South Korea, Australia, and in the United States. One can say that I have lived in the two extreme polar opposite countries in the world and a few in the middle. The life lessons I learned through my rare experience has allowed me to be quickly adaptable, but also be able to embrace people from different backgrounds and cultures with no judgment. And these photos are reminders of the historic days I spent with my friends from all over the world.
